The mechanism of emergence of amplitude modulation is considered at dispersion of a hy-droacoustic signal on the agitated sea surface. A possibility of use of the principles of adap-tive filtering in the implementation of the interference of detection of moving underwater objects is discussed. The results of experimental research in the natural environment of the shallow marine waters are presented.
