In the present paper the actual problem of the creating of the new type of sea simulator for solution the design and research tasks is considered. The hydrodynamics aspects of the developing of such kind simulator and perspective CFD methods for their creating are discussed. The examples of the mathematical models and computers software for the prediction of the hydrodynamics characteristics for this simulator are described.
