Nowadays there is a tendency to development of ever deeper oil and gas fields due to depletion of hydrocarbon reserves onshore. Thus lots of lifting operations have to be carried out during infrastructural development of such fields. The present work, on the basis of Fourier finite integral transformation method, gives solution to the problem of lifting loads from deep waters taking into consideration wave and dissipating processes in lifting ropes. To reduce forces additional shock-absorbing and damping devices are introduced into the system. The effect of these devices on maximum forces realized in the system during the process of load lifting is currently being analised.
